If you follow us on social media, then you know team S’well was just out in San Francisco for the Super Bowl. Between enjoying all of the Super Bowl festivities, we also made some time to do as the Californians do!
Our first stop was at Tartine Bakery, the quintessential place to carbo load for no reason. The giant croissant pictured is not your average breakfast pastry. It is actually filled with smoked ham and Gruyere and is one of Tartine’s claims to fame. We also enjoyed a mushroom croque-monsieur, banana bread pudding and lattes.
We made our way to Super Bowl Village to see all of the excitement and football fans gathered together. People were representing jerseys from all different teams, but all shared the enthusiasm for the Super Bowl.
This year, S’well was chosen by the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee to be part of their gifting suite. NFL executives and players came through and had a chance to pick up some amazing swag, including a Rose Gold S’well.
San Francisco is the first city in the United States to ban the sale of plastic water bottles. We were excited to see water stations in the different places we visited encouraging people to switch over to reusable bottles.
Right across the street from Super Bowl Village was The Ferry Building, housing more local San Francisco eats and shops to be explored.
Until next time, we’ve left our hearts in San Francisco! Follow us on snapchat to get more behind-the-scenes looks at S’well.
