S’well bottles can be cleaned simply with hot water and soap. For optimal cleansing we recommend using a combination of hot water, soap, and vinegar. S’well bottles are not dishwasher safe, so please be careful when cleaning your bottle.
Anything! Water, wine, beer, cocktails, coffee, hot chocolate, soup? You name it. S’well bottles can handle any liquid.
S’well offers a 10 year guarantee. We liken our bottles to a car — general wear and tear on a bottle over time is natural. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please reference our return and exchange policy. Please note our ThermaS’well Technology guarantee does not cover damage caused by accident, normal wear and tear, improper care or cleaning, or mis-use.

Thanks to ThermaSwell technology, there’s no need! Our vacuum seal keeps anything you put in the bottle cold for 24 hours & hot for twelve. You can actually damage the bottle by placing it in a freezer, so be mindful if doing so!
Chalk Ink easily wipes away with a damp cloth and water, or Windex.
We recommend allowing the bottles to air dry with the lids off. Be mindful not to submerge the lids in liquids for a long period of time as it can interfere with the vacuum seal.
All of our bottles are made of the highest grade 18/8 stainless steel and coated with soy-based paints. Even better, our bottles are non-leaching, BPA and toxin free.
* Our bottle lids contain a small silicon O-ring.
Our 9oz. & 17oz. sized bottles fit in a standard size cup-holder.
We handle returns and exchanges for gifted purchases the same as an ordinary online order. Please see our return policy.
Returns & exchanges are accepted within 14 days of your original purchase. If you would like to exchange a bottle for another one, please email a request with your original order number in the subject line to email@example.com. Returns and refunds will not be accepted for used bottles.
S’well will cover the shipment fees for the return of defective or damaged items.
We are a busy team, but we also want to keep our customers happy. The standard time for a return or exchange is 5-7 business days.
A $20 dollar shipping fee accompanies all international orders. Please understand that international orders are subject to local customs charges. You can expect your order to arrive within 10-14 business days.
Online orders are shipped from our warehouse located in San Diego, California. Free shipping is offered on all U.S. domestic orders. Online orders are processed Monday-Friday with the exception of federal holidays. Unfortunately, S’well does not ship to PO box locations.
All orders are shipped via FedEx ground and you can expect your order to arrive within 3-5 business days.
